When old friends meet.

The last time we sat together was some 34 years ago. Tun Razak was the prime minister, the American thought they were winning in South Vietnam, NST was being sold at 20sen, children wear shorts to school and we were just 12 year old. That was in the last centure, mind you. Our path brings us to different ways.

We did communicate over the years, technology has kept us together - by mail, then, by phone, by email, then e-groups. We tried a few times before to meet, but our worldly priorities was just not making it easy. Even if we have cross path over the years, I doubt we would recognize each other.

Finally last weekend, after a phone call, we decided to just have tea in Bangi. Betwen us we have 22 children and a long story to catch up with. Rahman barely has grey hair - but it's getting thin. Jai always had thin hair. I suppose I lose on the weight (or is that a win?).

Now that we met, I'm sure our path will cross again.

Jumpa Janda Lama

I let her go 3 months ago. She had been faithful to me for so long, but when it's time to go it's time to go. So I let her go. But today, our path crossed again. While leisurely walking to the Masjid for jumaat, I was got distracted by the view of this old lady. Her shape excite me as it always has. Then it occurred to me that it was HER. Took me a while to realize it. She looked better than when she was with me; but then as they say it, it's only when one is gone would you miss it....

And I met her new owner, a man much younger than I am now, who moments ago sent me an email to know her previous history. Much to my pleasure to share her story.

Here's her latest picture.
